The Ferst Foundation Camden County Community Action Team is delighted to inform Camden County residents about access to free hardback books for children aged birth to 5 years old. This community project is an effort to increase early educational development of the children in Camden County. The Ferst Foundation provides the opportunity for children to receive free, hardback books monthly. Early literacy and parent involvement are cornerstones of the project.
Registration is very simple. The only requirements are that the children live in Camden County and are under 4 ˝ years old at the time of registration. Parents, grandparents and others may access the site at http://www.ferstfoundation.org/registration.htm. The first book, The Little Engine that Could, will arrive in approximately 12 weeks and then one book per month afterwards until the child reaches the age of five. The last book is Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. Please print the attached registration form for those who do not have access to a computer. Once complete, mail the registration to the address at the top of the form. Visit the home page of the site for more information about the Ferst Foundation.
